What motivates me to run?
Running to me is like oxygen. I cannot survive without it. Being a national athlete in my early years, I have always held running close to my heart.
Every day, the one hour I run is the time I connect to myself. It is the only time I feel like myself and that is my biggest motivation to wake up, lace up and head out. The sense of accomplishment after every run, every mile, every hill and every workout is so exhilarating, I always want to go back every day and have that same feel.
‘100 Days of Running’ is one such accomplishment where one can boast at being consistent for 100 days. This is my 4th consecutive year and I still crave the feeling of finishing 100 days fully.
So let’s all run together and accomplish together and spread our colourful wings and soar high.
