Your Questions Answered
My name is not visible on the event leaderboard/reports, why?
So you completed your run or ride and submitted the activity details on hdor.com website or app, but it is still not visible on the event reports page. This can happen when you did not complete your registration after making the payment. See this article to understand how to do that.
I have registered for the 5 Km Run, do I need to run 5 Km daily?
No, for any of your registered distances (which include 5 runs and 5 ride events), you are required to do that distance at least once. However, if you are feeling fit and want to attempt the same distance more times to improve your finish time, you are free to do that.
I have registered for an event, what distance do I need to run to qualify as finisher?
Suppose you have registered for the 10 Km ride, you are required to ride a minimum distance of 10 Km (ride a little extra to ensure any data issues). For a 10 Km ride, any distance between 10 Km and less than 25 Km will be counted. Here is the complete list:
Registered for 3k run: 3+ km to less than 5 km
Registered for 5k run: 5+ km to less than 10 km
Registered for 10k run: 10+ km to less than 21 km
Registered for Half Marathon : 21+ km to less than 42 km
Registered for Marathon: 42+ km
Registered for 1okm ride: 10 km to less than 25 km
Registered for 25km ride: 25 km to less than 50 km
Registered for 50km ride: 50 km to less than 75 km
Registered for 75km ride: 75 km to less than 100 km
Registered for 100km ride: 100 km or more
What happens if I run some extra distance over my registered event distance?
Suppose you registered for a 5 Km run and you actually ran 8 Km and submitted that activity link with 8 Km distance and corresponding time (either directly or via your activity import from Strava), the system will convert that 8 Km to 5 Km by reducing recorded distance and time by the same measure. System will not automatically detect what time you crossed the 5 Km line for such imported entries.
What app should I use to record my ride or run?
You can use any of the apps from our supported apps list.
Should I submit the recorded moving time or elapsed time from my app?
Only elapsed time must be submitted and is acceptable. Moving time is not acceptable.
Will my submitted run or ride data without any activity link be considered?
No, to qualify as an event finisher, it is mandatory to submit your run or ride activity details via an activity link from a supported fitness app. The activity link must have details of your distance, time, and km/mile splits, which are essential to validate if the activity data was genuine or not.
