Challenge rules
What is 100 Days of Running?
It is a virtual challenge to run, jog or walk at least 2.5 km a day-or cycle at least 8 km a day-for 100 consecutive days. To be an event finisher, complete at least 85 days.
Track with the HDOR app, a supported third-party app, GPS watch or manual submission. Without proof, up to 2.5 km for run/jog/walk or 8 km for cycling may be reported each day.
How do I qualify for a finisher medal?
Submit valid activity data for at least 85 of the 100 days. Eligible participants should refer to the event timelines for medal delivery information.
How are finishers ranked?
Rankings are based on total points from valid activity data. Points consider distance, pace or speed, and elevation. Ties are decided by total distance.
Manual and automatically imported activities count toward an active day. Pace, speed and elevation points are awarded only to activities automatically imported from supported apps.
What are the event age categories?
- 12–19 years
- 20–29 years
- 30–39 years
- 40–49 years
- 50–59 years
- 60 years and above
Age is considered as on 9 October 2026. The top three men and women in each published age-category ranking receive a podium trophy, based on points and then distance.
What is the trophy award criteria?
Individual, couple, family and friends-team winners are decided by points, then distance. Running-group and corporate team winners are decided by their team’s total points.

Activity & data
Do I need a mobile app or GPS watch?
No, but it is highly recommended. You may also enter your daily distance and time on the HDOR website or mobile app. Without supporting evidence, the daily limit is 2.5 km for run/jog/walk or 8 km for cycling.
Is there an HDOR mobile app for my phone?
Yes. HDOR is available for Android and iPhone. Use the app to submit and track activities, interact with GoGo, view leaderboards and reports, access run logs, and explore helpful content.
Download the HDOR app ↗Can I run indoors or on a treadmill?
Indoor or treadmill activities tracked in the relevant GPS watch mode are accepted when a public activity link shows distance, time, pace or speed, and splits. Otherwise, submit manually up to the daily maximum of 2.5 km.
Can I submit data for past dates?
You can submit activity data up to 10 days after the activity date. The final deadline for all event entries is 20 January 2027. Submissions after that are not accepted.
If automatic import fails, contact support within the same submission window.
How does Strava or automatic syncing work?
After you connect your HDOR account to Strava, activity data is usually available within an hour of it appearing in Strava. If it does not appear, submit the activity link and run data manually, then contact support@hdor.com.
Can I walk instead of running, or submit more than once a day?
Yes. You can mix running and walking, and walking the minimum distance is encouraged on recovery days. If you submit more than one activity for a day, only the activity earning the highest points is counted.
What distances can I submit?
The minimum is 2.5 km for run/jog/walk and 8 km for cycling. With a valid activity link there is no maximum. Without proof, the maximum you can submit is 2.5 km for run/jog/walk or 8 km for cycling.
Can my activity be disqualified?
Yes. Suspicious GPS data, unrealistic pace, activity recorded in a vehicle, external assistance or any form of cheating can make an entry invalid and may lead to disqualification.
Can I submit a tagged activity?
No. Activities tagged with someone else’s name cannot be submitted. Only the participant who recorded the activity may submit it.
