Concern India Foundation 7-Day Fitness Challenge

Towards the Fight to Finish Covid-19 effort, May 1st to May 7th, 2020

The global outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has affected more than 180 countries. The needs of our communities are evolving on a daily basis. In response to the spread of COVID-19 in India, Concern India Foundation has started relief work to strengthen public health institutions by providing protective equipment and tools enabling better treatment and management of COVID-19 patients.

The support includes providing ventilators, ECG machines, portable X-Ray machines and protective kits with sanitizers, disposable gloves, masks, personal protection equipment, N 95 masks and cleaning detergent. The priority at present is to bridge the gaps and ensure that support is provided to the health care teams working to fight this deadly virus. In addition, Concern India Foundation is supporting the distribution of food grains to orphanages, old age homes, daily wage workers and migrant laborers.

And while we are all in lock down it is also important to look after ourselves and stay healthy and focus on our fitness; both physical and mental well-being. Being active while staying indoors is important. Take part in this challenge and dedicate your commitment to a fitness regime to our work!

How Do I Participate?

Be fit at home

Keep your fitness levels up during this tough and challenging times. Keep your mind and body healthy with this fitness challenge.

7 days, 7 workouts

Each day of the 7 days of the event, you will be challenged to do a unique fitness workout. It’s going to be fun!

Exercise indoors

You are required to do all your fitness challenges indoors, at any time of your choice, maintaining social distancing.

Submit workout details

Once you complete a day’s challenge, submit your workout details on event website or app. You can click and submit photos too!

Target to complete each day's workout within a 30 minutes window. You can choose any 30 minutes of your day as per your convenience.

Each day's workout is approximately 30 minutes long. You may stop earlier depending on your comfort level while doing the workout, or take breaks in between while pausing the online workout on your device.

When do registrations end?

Event registrations will end on May 7th, 2020.

How do I login to my account?

Participants need to login to the HDOR website using their communicated login credentials.

No new accounts will be created for pre-existing HDOR participants, they can use their existing HDOR accounts for data submission if they registered for the using the same email credentials as their HDOR account.

What is the event duration and timeline?

The event starts on Fri, May 1st and ends on Thu, May 7th, 2020.

What workouts do I need to do daily?

We have a specified workout for each day of the 7 day challenge as listed on this page, and all participants will be required to follow the same. Details of each day’s workout will be shared with the participants a day before.

How do I submit my workout details?

You can submit your workout details on event website or HDOR app by using the activity submission form. You can also share your workout photos when submitting details.

What information do I need to submit for workout?

You will be required to submit the duration of the workout. You may also submit your photos doing the workout.

How do I qualify as a finisher?

Every person who participates in the event is a finisher. Your bigger achievement for this event is participation, and doing your bit for your fitness and the cause via your contribution.

Cancellation and refunds information

The registration fees are non-refundable and will not be refunded in case the participant is unable to take part in the event due to any reasons.

In the unlikely scenario of the event being cancelled or postponed, the participants will be provided with an option for refund minus any processing charges from the ticketing partner.
