Shweta Jain’s Virtual Fitness Journey

Being 75 kg, I faced physical issues like back and body pain and had no confidence.
My husband’s motivation, who is also a marathon runner, inspired me to run for a healthier lifestyle, resulting in physical and mental strength.

On completing the 100 Days of Running Challenge, my endurance level increased, and I lost 15 kg. Achieving the target of 42 km boosted my confidence and self-esteem. Now, I manage to run three times a week, with the belief that nothing is too difficult to achieve.

My achievements to date are:

  1. Two Bangalore Marathons (42 km)
  2. 10–15 half marathons (21 km) in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Mumbai, and Bengaluru
  3. Hyderabad Durgam Cheru half marathon and many 10km events
  4. The Pink City Half Marathon in Jaipur and the Tata Mumbai Marathon (21 km)

I advise all new runners to listen to their bodies and remember that nothing is too difficult to achieve. Always eat properly, rest adequately, and enjoy the run. You should only compete with yourself and always strive to be better.
