Muhammad Ali once stated: “It’s the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen.”
The fact that once I was unable to walk has always motivated my spirits. Others said that it’s a disability, they perceived it as a weakness but I believed in myself. I believed that I can walk. I did. I believed I can run. And eventually, I did.
My passion for running introduced me to 100 Days of running challenge in 2018. I participated but couldn’t complete due to muscle tear on the 25th day. This setback made me more determined to complete the 100 Days of Running in the year 2019. I completed the challenge without a single blip. The challenge further added fuel to my passion for running. Post completion of 100 Days of Running only, I started preparing for marathons and recently only completed my 1st Half Marathon event.
Now, I am looking forward to 100 Days of Running 2020.
