The world is in a lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Covid-19 virus, a virus strain from the coronavirus family, is one of the biggest challenges faced by humanity in recent times. The number of affected people is growing by the day, and we must rise together in such challenging times to take action.

During this tough and stressful times, it is important that we continue to focus on our fitness, both physical and mental well-being. Being active while staying indoors is important. Take part in this challenge by doing indoor workouts and earn reward points for each activity.

How Do I Participate?

Choose your activities

You can do different fitness activities everyday as part of this event, we have a big list. Do not let the lockdown come between you and your fitness.

Be fit during lockdown

As long as the public lockdown continues, the event will continue. Try to spend some time daily to stay fit during their tough phase.

Exercise indoors

Being a virtual indoor event, you must do your fitness activity indoors, at any time of your choice. You can do multiple activities too, choose any from event list.

Submit your activity data

Submit your activity data on event website or app, compare your results with other participants. No automatic data import from Strava for this event.

Supported Activities

We have multiple activities supported as part of the HDOR Fit @ Home challenge. You can do any of the activities out of below daily! When submitting data for any activity, you will be able to specify the activity intensity - low, medium or high, and your activity score will be decided accordingly.

Carbon Neutral Event

Participants not traveling to a venue to run/ride. No paper certificates. No finisher medal. This will be a 100% green event with zero carbon footprint.

Leaderboard & Reports

Once you have registered for the event, you will be able to download the official HDOR app and view your event stats for your submitted runs.

Event leaderboards and reports will highlight how participants from a particular region are doing (no individual report).

You will also be able to view all the leaderboards and reports using your HDOR login account on your laptop or computer.

Use Your Favorite Apps

You may do Yoga, Crossfit, Dancing, Treadmill Run, Indoor Run, Indoor Walk, Indoor Bike, Strength Training, Zumba, or other common workouts we support for this challenge.

You can record your activity using any of the health and fitness apps which allow recording activity details for indoor activities.

Some of the popular fitness apps you may use are Strava, Endomondo, MapMyRun, Runkeeper, Runtastic, Garmin Connect, TomTom Sports, Fitbit or Apple Watch. Check your app to see if it allows recording of your activity type data and can display your activity so that you can share a screenshot for the same when you submit data on event website or HDOR app.

No automatic import of data is enabled for this event. All submissions need to be done manually.

When do registrations end?

Event registrations will remain open till public announcement of registration closure.

How do I login to my account?

Participants need to login to the HDOR website using their communicated login credentials.

No new accounts will be created for pre-existing HDOR participants, they can use their existing HDOR accounts for data submission if they registered for the using the same email credentials as their HDOR account.

What is the event duration and timeline?

The event starts on Wed, Apr 1st, and will continue until declared closed by event organizers based on status of widespread lockdown advisories in effect in India and other nations. The organizers will have the final word on the announcement of the event closure date based on these public advisories from the governments. So, this is a unique event in the sense that there is no definite closure date.

As per current advisory, the India lockdown is scheduled to expire on 14 April 2020.

What activities can I do daily?

We have a big list of supported activities mentioned on this page above. You can do any of those activities in the day, and submit the data for the same.

How do I submit my activity data?

You can submit your indoor activity data on event website or HDOR app by using the activity submission form. You can also share a screenshot of your activity recorded using a mobile app or watch if available. Submission of screenshot is not mandatory.

What information do I need to submit for activity?

You will be required to submit the duration of the activity, or the count of repetitions done for the activity (number of attempts), depending on the activity type.

Will my Strava activity data be imported?

We do import all your Strava run/ride data as per our platform guidelines, but for this special indoor only event, all submissions must be done manually.

How do I qualify as a finisher?

Every person who participates in the event is a finisher. Your bigger achievement for this event is participation, and doing your bit for your fitness and for the safety of others around you by exercising indoors.
